If you want one side of your bread toasted, this is the toaster for you. The inside coils almost burn your bread while the outside doesn't get toasted at all no matter what you set the toaster on. I really should have read the reviews before purchasing, but I honestly thought Cuisinart was supposed to be a good brand.

Bought for my wife who is very particular about toast. Found it toasted uneven on different sides. Have scoured the reviews and this toaster may be as good as any others. There may not be a toaster out there that toasts evenly.

We bought this because it is white and matches the rest of the white kitchen and white Cuisinart appliances! It is working nicely now. Time will tell if it lasts longer than other brands of similar but slightly cheaper toasters.
