I've had this for a month and it works very well. Bread (thin and thick sliced) and english muffins all come out well toasted. The 'darkness' selector works well. Still to early to comment on reliability, which has been my problem with toasters in the past.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not good from the start. The selection knob wasn't in synk with the toasting. Even a number 2 provided dark toast the first time and even darker for the next set of toast immediately afterward.

This is the best toaster we have ever owned. The different options for toasting is wonderful and the reheat is a fabulous option. Many times I think I am ready for breakfast drop my Eggo's in then something happens and my waffles are cold. No longer with the Cuisinart -- I just drop them back down on reheat and I have hot waffles.
