Cord storage very difficult to do! The time dial is easily moved by routine handling. Also, the toast does not lift up high enough when done - it is easy to burn your fingers!

The toaster does not toast the bread evenly on both sides. After contacting Cuisinart to complain, and providing requested information, I have not gotten a response back.

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH MY PURCHASE. I WISH I WOULD HAVE KEPT MY OLD TOASTER WHICH HAPPEN TO BE A CUISINART STAINLESS STEEL BUT IT WAS OVER 20 YRS OLD AND STARTING TO FAIL. THE NEW TOASTER DOES NOT TOAST AS WELL. ONE SIDE WILL TOAST OK AND THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BREAD DOES NOT AS WELL.

Still have not figured out the correct setting to do different types of breads and bagels. There is a bagel button but when I use it to toast a bagel it seems not to make a difference. Also it appears that some of the heating elements are starting to lose there intensity as they appear not to be heating.
