The toaster toasts bread evenly. Have not tried a bagel yet, but have tried thick rolls cut in half and it does a nice job. It does toast the bread quicker than our previous toaster.

You have to carefully put the toaster in toast mode if you push it down doesnt click into action unless it's pulled down slow and carefully
Wish the toasting area was taller for oval shape toast... i have to put toast into the toaster twice flipping it half way through or cut off an inch of bread or have t end untoasted
Meh all around... also plastic casing is thin and cheap... i couldn't find a thinner toaster to fit the minimal space i have in metal

I asked for a 2 slice toaster and received this one as a Christmas gift. Love the black plastic cover which stays cool to the touch. Still learning the best settings for what I am toasting. Seems like a great item and look forward to using it for my toasting needs.

This toaster would not toast bread evenly on the two sides, no matter what setting we put it on. The difference was so extreme that the bread was inedible.. It was so disappointing that we had to return it to the store where we bought it for a full refund.
