Basic Toaster with options to defrost frozen bread while toasting. The interior heating elements on both slots “brown” to desired setting but exterior heating elements on both slots do not match so I adjust the dial and retract by flipping the toast to a believe desired results.

This toaster is a disappointment. Slots are too narrow to accommodate a normal bagel because the metal cage does not expand enough, and when I press the bagel setting button I still get both sides toasting (unlike my previous Black and Decker). I'm ditching this product. My advice: spend a bit more and buy a better product.

Overall it is a decent toaster, but it doesn’t toast evenly. One side of the front slot only toast’s about half way.

It's pretty basic, and once I had to unplug and and plug back in to reset because it just wouldn't work. I haven't had it that long, so doesn't seem like a good sign of things to come.

I was looking for a basic toaster,, nothing fancy, that would last at least a couple years. This toaster was reasonably priced, as well as consistently well-rated so I decided to take a chance.
This toaster has all the basic toaster settings (toast, bagel, defrost, reheat) along with 5 levels of toasting. Each level toasts fairly evenly, although the different settings didn’t seem to vary much from one another. There is an easily accessible crumb tray, a “boost” to push the toasted bread up high enough to not burn fingers, and the sides remain cool to touch. I use this toaster every day and so far I’ve been very pleased with it.
I definitely recommend this appliance to anyone looking for a basic toaster!
