I researched toasters and came up with this one. It’s okay. It tends to toast much darker at the bottom of the bread. It’s not wide enough for some bagels. I’m not sure the bagel button activates changes the toasting—still does both sides. I only use setting 1-2 because those are dark. It doesn’t lift up very high after toasting.

Still a new appliance so not a lot of use yet. So far it toasts great though, browns evenly and easy care. Not a lot of bells and whistles but we didnt want that so this one is perfect for our needs.Glad we went with the cuisinart brand!

Basic affordable toaster. Slots are a little smaller than my previous but similar Hamilton Beach toaster; and if only using one slot, bread does not toast evenly. My solution is to cut a slice of bread in half and use both slots. Like the slide-out crumb tray and the smaller profile on my counter.

Great features on this unit, simple and easy to use. The cancel button is a must I can’t believe that I have never used a toaster with one of these before.

This toaster is more of a burner. I chose this one over others as it has a bagel feature and I thought the name brand would mean quality. My previous toaster had a bagel feature that would turn off the heat on one side. I don’t see a difference in the heat setting at all with the bagel setting on this one. Also, I have to keep the setting on the lowest number to keep from burning the bread.
