The toaster started out fine, but the lever stopped staying down when I start it, I have to hold it down to get it to toast anything. I disassembled it once already after googling the issue and cleaned off the mechanism by the lever, but it's started happening again, which is ridiculous for me barely having used it. I'm not going to open it up to clean it off every week.

We had a toaster just like this one and it lasted for 14 years. So, I decided to buy the same brand and type again and hope for another 14 years. It does a great job with bread, bagels and English muffins. You can also defrost bread before toasting.

This toaster is very light weight. The black color looks nice on the counter. I like the bagel setting for my english muffins. I would recommend this purchase if you are looking for an inexpensive quality toaster.

We've had this for about 2 weeks and still can't figure out what number to dial to get toast the way we like it.
We turn it to almost the highest number and still the toast comes out like warm bread, and we have to do it again. On the second try each time, it comes out OK. No big deal, but annoying to have to toast your bread twice! Also, each slice is very unevenly dark; usually there's a darker streak down the middle of the slice. Still, it's a nice small size for our counter.
