Had the toaster for about a month. Slowly each day it toasted less and less. Had it set at 6 would only toast one side of the bread. Returned it very dissatisfied.

My daughter got me this toaster because with the one we have had for probably15 years I would have to put the bread, muffins, etc down twice at the highest setting to toast it on both sides. With this new toaster I HAVE TO DO THE SAME THING. Thus one ONLY TOASTS THE UPPER HALF OF WHATEVER I AM TOASTING. SO NOW I HAVE TO FLIP THE BREAD, ETC FROM TOP TO BOTTOM SO ALL OF IT WILL BE TOASTED. NO IMPROVEMENT OVER MY OLD ONE.

Am very pleased with the toaster. Settings are very accurate. Had purchased a cheap toaster. It lasted about 1 month and broke. Cuisinart makes excellent products.

Lightweight appliance. Toasting is uneven. One side toasts but the other is barely toasted. Haven't tried anything other than bread so far. Only square shaped bread fits in the slots. Anything of an oval or round shape does not. Functional with few features. Would not purchase again.
