Unfortunately, this toaster didn't cook evenly so I returned it. One side of the bread was much darker than the other.

Toasts two slices okay, but toasts one slice unevenly. At setting 4 (medium) one side of the slice toasted okay, but the other side was too dark and blackened in spots. Filed a warranty claim and received a replacement toaster with the same problem. Decided to buy another brand that has a setting for toasting one slice evenly.
