Bought this to replace another Cusinart toaster and am extremely disappointed in the decline in quality. Doesn’t toast evenly (burns one edge) and is cheaply made. The lever and adjustment knob are flimsy and the spring sometimes fails to raise the toast when complete. Will be sending it back.

Great size and quality for a standard toaster. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because sometimes it takes a few tries for the toaster to stay down and start toasting. Otherwise, have not had any other issues and am happy with my purchase.

Bought this to replace a stainless steel Cuisinart toaster that was not toast evenly. Got this one as it was recommended by Wirecutter but am not impressed. It all of the toasting elements heat up evenly. Top half of the slice of bread toasts and the bottom half doesn’t. One side toasts and the other side doesn’t. Have to shift the slices and retoast which is a royal pain and usually one part of the toast is too dark.
