It toasts one side more than the other. It toasts the bottom more than the top. It is not consistent. It’s a huge disappointment. I’m going to give it away and buy a Kitchenaid.

The toaster toasts evenly and controls are easy to use. Reheat feature is useful. Does a better job with frozen bagel halves than my last toaster ( toasts it nicely and totally defrosts the inside). I wish the slots were wider to allow bagels to fit -- it's challenging to fit the bagel into the toaster. Otherwise, very happy with the product.

I recently received a Cuisinart two slice toaster as a gift. After about 15 or 20 uses, the leverage you push down to activate the toaster wouldn’t stay down unless I held it in place. :-(. I threw it away!

New toaster not as good as one we had for 20years

We had a similar toasted from your company for about 20 years! We replaced it with a similar one from your company. set the new one to similar settings for a bagel and it burned it! I now toast my bagel on 2 1/2 and no bagel setting. It doesn't burn but it doesn't heat through like the old toaster used to do.

Adjustment knob is too loose. Toaster has failed to pop up toast on time causing toast to burn. Feels cheap. This unit is replacing a Cuisinart Stainless Steel model that I had for years. I have many Cuisinart appliances and I even have a Cuisinart ICE-70P1 Cool Creations Ice Cream maker coming today. This is the first time I have an inferior item from Cuisinart.
