I've had a lot of toasters in my life and usually I'm disappointed. This one however is happily impressing me. It toast quickly and evenly. The numbers are what they say, as in there is a difference between four and five, five and six. I'm very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this toaster!

This toaster has several settings and they are consistant with each type of item, bread, bagel or muffin. It toasts evenly so i don't have to turn it upside down to toast it again. Good price so it is definitely worth the money.

Small enough to fit in the limited space available. Not particularly good at even toasting. One side of the bread (or bagel, muffin, etc.) gets way more brown than the other. I have to turn the bread around and toast again, canceling after a minute on the second go. Making a toaster that toasts evenly should not be rocket science. I would not recommend this toaster.

I would’ve given the toaster five stars but the lever you push down to begin the toasting process hardly stayed down at all when I first got the toaster. However, with much perseverance, it is now functioning for the most part but one must really push it firmly down.
