I like the toaster - small, attractive -- but it doesn't toast evenly. It toasts the edges well but not the inner bits. And when I leave it in longer to toast the inner bits, the crust burns!

If you like your toast burnt or soft this is the right one to buy. Even on the first setting the bread does not toast properly it remains soft and higher than 1 it burns

The Cuisinart 2 Slice toaster works very well. I have been pleased with how well it toasts different types of breads from thick bagels to thin sourdough. The heating coils seem to be consistent and they heat quickly.

Toasts very unevenly. Even at 2 it burnt parts of my toast. I’ve been a long time fan of Cuisinart appliances and cookware but this is a very disappointing product.

Terrible toaster. Burns half the side of toast and under-toasts the other half. Have messed with the settings and no luck improving. This is the worst toaster I have experienced in my 60 + years of making toast.
