I bought the BlueAir on a recommendation from a neighbor. My son in college always would blow his nose every morning after waking up and throughout the day. After getting him a BlueAir he can breath again. The bonus is the college dorm room doesn't have any odors. Thank you Blue Air!

It is no louder than a fan on high.

I have had mine for a few months. On the low setting you cannot hear it unless you are right next to it in a quiet room. The medium setting sounds just like a fan you would put in your room. The high setting is louder, but no louder than a fan on high. I seriously do not get the complaints about the noise. It is an air filter. It blows clean air out of the top. What is that supposed to sound like? I leave mine on high. I sit right next to it and never notice it being on. If you buy an air filter, you are going to hear the air blowing out on the higher settings. I think the product is great. It does its job.
