Set was fast and easy to accomplish and the printout was indeed smudge free. Now as long as the printer lasts for more than one day (previous printer issue) I'll love it!

I must start by saying that when the printer/scanner is working it produces an excellent copy.
The problem that I have encountered is that the hardware has gone bad on 2 other units, which entails reprogramming and shipping. Which takes time and effort.
Epson has been more than gracious in working with trying to solve the problem and making quick replacement of the defective unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just purchased this printer and it was a breeze to install to work with two networked PCs. All functions are working and it prints lightening fast, especially on draft setting.
I would recommend this to a friend!
