Stopped printing black

I have had this printer for about 1 year. I have 2 college students in my house. This printer worked great until about 2 months ago. It got low on the black ink, so I changed it with Epson genuine ink and it seemed to go through the replace cart process just fine, but now it doesn't print in black. I have changed the ink and cleaned the heads several times. no change. It prints color just fine. There does not seem to be a solution accept to get a new printer at this point.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

WorkForce WF-2530 All-in-one Printer

LOVE our new all-in-one......we were given a WorkForce 500 many years ago and decided it was time to upgrade. This is perfect for us -- we are retired and have found that a fax machine is a must. Why run out in the heat of the day, not to mention the traffic and pay to fax a document when we can do it from home? I love the ability to print on two sides of the paper as I am forever printing large documents and it has saved quite a bit of paper. Scanning old photos to save as digital files has preserved so much for our children and grandchildren. All in all this is perfect for us.

Worst ever

Horrible product. I'll never buy another Epson. Worst ink value ever. Constant mainteneance issues. Constant. Almost everytime I use it,it has some new issue....updates,ink levels,head cleaning,nozzle checks,unknown drivers,communication errors. Im telling you this thing is driving me crazy. Extremely tight fisted company with tons of files on my HD now from them for a printer that hardly works.Ink price is waaaay tooo high for the

I bought this and the very first day I get a message saying I'm almost out of ink???? Are you kidding me?? It's not like I was printing out war & peace for a arena full of people...... one tax return... one! Albeit a large one but ....

NOT THE USUAL EPSON QUALITY

AFTER 6 MONTHS THE PRINTER WOULD SKIP LINES AND NOT PRINT. CLEANING THE PRINT HEADS DIDN'T HELP THIS WAS MY FOURTH EPSON PRINTER AND I WAS REALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE PERFORMANCE COMPARED TO PREVIOUS PRINTERS.
TO EPSON'S CREDIT AFTER I CONTACTED THEM THEY IMMEDIATELY SENT ME A NEW PRINTER AT NO CHARGE AND I HAVE JUST BEGUN TO USE IT

Though I felt a little intimidated, I am not computer savvy. I took a deep breath put in the CD and followed the directions.
It was much easier than I thought. It took literally minutes to set up the connection of the EPSON WF-2530 to my computer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

2530 all In One

My former printer was not aligning business cards or notecards accurately so the first test on this printer was to make some photo note crds. They came out great - the alignment was perfect as was the color of the photo.
I also had issues with paper feeding and the Epson was top-notch in this area.
I also used the auto-feed to make some copies and send other information to my computer's memory - the 2530 passed w/flying colors.
Botom line - one of the best units of this nature I have ever used - it was also a great value.
I highly recommend this unit to anyone needing an economical and trustworthy all-in-one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worst printer I have ever had.

I've had this printer for a year now and from day one it is has not worked correctly. I should have returned it when I had the chance. Printing is almost always lined or faded. Multiple "nozzle checks" and "ink level" checks have to be run for it work. Takes time and ink and patience. Finally with this last cartridge change the black isn't printing at all. I've had it with this thing. Waste of money.
