WF-2530 set-up

I am an average computer user and it took me about 2-hours to set up with the wireless hi-fi. Epson is not open on Sunday for support, so I used trial and error. During set-up the printer asked me for a password. I had no idea what to put in and finally put my router # in there and that was it.
It prints very good and I would have rated it 5 stars but I really haven't used it for anything yet to see.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This machine will not work well on a wireless network. Forget about setting up to the cloud either. Super slow as a printer as well - it does the five minute warm up/move-the-ink-heads around thing too. Do not buy.

The only thing I dislike about it is when you go to print it ALWAYS prints the last page first.

This is just a piece of junk. I have just spent almost 3 hours trying to get some envelopes to print. They are a non-standard size so it is a real problem since it printed 20 of the 50 I need and now every time I try to print the rest it jams the envelope. I rechecked and the envelopes are loaded as before but it just jams and they either tear while getting them out or are ruined anyway because of the ink smearing all over. It is an expensive piece of garbage. This is just ruining my wedding anniversary party!!! also, I have no idea how I am going to get more envelopes to replace the ruined ones.

VERY nice printer

We needed a new home printer. The EPSON WF-2530 met my price and features range. It has been a very useful tool. I am using the scan function even more than I expected. The printer results are quick and clean, and flexible. One unanticipated goodie, it is light-weight. Before I got the Wi-Fi set up, I was moving it around the house with my laptop.
The replacement inks are a fair price and because I registered the unit, EPSON sends discount coupons and sales info, often. I just saved 15% on my ink replacement order! And, YAY!, the EPSON website gives me time to complete my business. Some sites refresh every 2-3 minutes. Dumping your efforts, and forcing you to redo your work. grr.
I AM VERY SATISFIED with my EPSON WF-2530.
Two minor issues: Sometimes, I want a two-sided product. Boo hoo. :-) A "bigger" issue is the TINY, hard to read, NOT back-lit screen read out. When programming, it is awful. Faxing, awful. Setting up Wi-Fi, even replacing ink, AWFUL. Improve this screen, and I would give the EPSON WF-2530 an "Ivory Soap" score of 99.44%.

Followed the directions and now I cannot get Microsoft office to work.
And on top of that the printer does not pull the paper thru.
Stay away! Stay far away!!

The printer would not print or copy. Paper came out and was so faint I could not read anything on the paper. I called Technical Support and they finally concluded the nozzles were not working and asked me to return the product. They are sending me another one and I hope it works.
