this printer was a life saver! It was easy to install and works like a dream. I love the fact that it is wireless, which makes for less wire clutter. I would reccommend this printer to anyone.

Hidden Compatibility Issues

I wasted 4 hours of my time and missed a deadline because the printer software included with the product disabled my entire suite of MS Office 365 products. I had to isolate and remove a piece of junk software bundled with the driver download. And the Epson support site was useless. Feel like Epson owes me something for patching their product!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst product (of any kind) I've ever purchased

If I leave the printer on, it drinks ink like a sailor. If I turn the printer off, it clogs when I try to print.
I could get it to print if I run through all the maintenance checks, like clean heads, check alignment, etc. multiple times. When it's finally warmed up and ready to print, I would normally be out of one of the color inks so I couldn't print a black-only page.
During today's battle, I replaced the color inks. The black was almost full. It was printing blank pages again, probably because black was clogged again. After attempting to print a 14-page document 3 times, it reported that the black supply level was low even though no black ink was applied to a page. It looks like the supply level is nothing more than a page counter: X number of pages went through the printer so I'm forced to buy more ink.
Print quality is a problem on its best day. I've had to trash 75% of the printed pages because no one could read them.
But, Wifi setup was easy. Scanner works. Fax works.
This printer is so bad, I can't, in good conscience, donate it to charity. No one should have to inherit these problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great buy for the $$

Machine does as promised, so far. I have always had Epsons because of the ink( don't run when wet). The smartphone set-up and email set-up need more explaining. Thank goodness for techs in the Phillipines

This actually my second Epson printer. Personally I enjoy using this product. Forced out a jammed document out if my first printer that caused a documentation error. With that I decided to get a new one. In a nutshell I hold to desire you product. Thank you.

very easy to setup i know it says you need usb (which did not come with it) you will not need it. I set it up without it. fastest install ever
