This is my 3rd 2530 in 4 months. They work just fine at first but then thay just quit. Tech support is hard to understand but we do seem to get things done.

the only drawback to me as a senior citizen is the lack of light giving the time, menu, etc. Is there a backlight available and I am missing it?

Very Disappointed...

I agree with the customer(s) who said it IS NOT the usual Epson quality. I've purchased prior Epson printers and never had this problem. This printer skips lines and doesn't print correctly. I even cleaned the print heads, ran a few test pages and spent money on replacing the black ink cartridge (that was already full) to see if by some miracle that would help and it still had horrible quality. This was a simple one page document (resume) to be exact and I wasted so much paper (and ink) trying to get this to print correctly. I adjusted the settings as well to darken the print to see if it would be a bit more legible. NO change. I exhausted every avenue trying to get this to work and then gave up.
I had to go to my neighbor's house to use their printer in order to print my document I needed for a morning interview. How sad is that!
It's an uneasy feeling when you need things printed and can't count on the printer you purchased to print a simple job. I'm very disappointed in this and would NOT recommend this to anyone.

The Epson WF-2530 multi function printer is definitely affordable but replacing the ink cartridges costs you a fortune. We have 4 of these in our office and they all scan extremely slow and the ADF Feeder consistently gets jammed. If you just need to print of scan occasionally, it does the job.

Great printer, would give it 5 stars but just got it. Extremely easy set up and the Wi-FI printing is out of this world. Two clicks and I'm printing from my phone. This printer has a lot of similarities to the professional one I have at work, but at a VERY affordable price point.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had this printer for a couple years now. More maintenance than printing. Constant problems. Going to buy a non Epson product.
