Initial removal of printer from box was easy and unpacking accomplished within 5 minutes. After cartridge initialization and charging (about 10 minutes), the printer was set up on the wireless network. Installed the software and was prompted to update the printer driver using the internet. Process began smoothly and ending promptly in about 10 minutes. From beginning to end, initial set up of the printer seems to have gone smoothly and easily. Only complaint, as with all network printers, now have to remove old printer SW and install new...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Why don't you include a USB cable ? The set up went great until it was time to hook up to the computer. It took me a while to figure out I was using the wrong cable! Fortunately, I was able to use the USB cable from my other printer.

I find that the WF2530 is not very compatible with the IMAC I photo program. (There is no information on the product that explains that)
I would love to have my 8400 back.

Was very easy to install and connect. Even with out a USB connection the wireless connection was a breeze. Control panel is workable, just need to read the manual for good hints on controlling options.
I would recommend this to a friend!

WF 2530 Review

Loyal Epson user and did recently move. Had some difficulty with faxing....machine froze and had to pull the plug to reboot it....it would not even shut off with the button. But it ''seems'' to be working better now so i'll wait to see if it acts up again. I had a C84 printer before that lasted for 9 yrs before buying this current model. I am satisfied with the 2530 choice and hope it lasts as long as my C84 did. Thank you.

For the most part, it's a pretty good printer. Print speed & quality is good. It does seem to use a bit more ink than other printers I've had, but the cartridges are less expensive, so I guess it's a trade-off. One thing I don't like: when printing a multi-page document, it prints starting with the last pg. and works up to the first pg. If you want to print 2-sided pgs., it's a pain.
