i was a little hesitant to set this printer up, because im not very good at alot of the newer computer stuff. but i needed a new printer that had a fax, scaner, and to be able to print on both sides of the paper. i was very surprised on how easy it was to set up. the instructions are very well written, and the quick startup pages were a snap to use. the color is just great, way better than my dell printer. also refill ink cartridges are less expensive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just got it, so havem't really had a chance to uise it yet. had difficulty in finding USB port on unit, but eventually found it. (Hope tis unit will work in Japan eventually (Japan uses 100V 50/60 Hz for the electrical grid).

WOW! What a bargain!
I thought I was buying a lesser quality brand when I replaced my 3 year old printer after constant paper jams, error messages and a final on/off cycle problem. This model was half the price I paid for my old one. I thought I 'd gotten a "cheaper" product, but was tired of throwing my money away.

Nothing could be further from the truth. This Epson WP 4530 printer produces a superior photo print. I thought I was a bad photographer and my camera was functioning poorly until I printed out a photo on this model. Same camera- Different printer- I feel like a pro!
I've only had this printer 3 months, but I use it daily and heavily to produce student worksheets and computer training booklets. I believe printing worksheets in color is more conducive to student achievement, even though copying in B&W is cheaper. Just recently I replace the original ink cartridges. Judging by how long they lasted, I believe I will see a savings in ink.
By the way, setting it up was easy and adjusting prints for photo size is a snap. I don't have to guess whether I'll get 2 different photos to a page or 2 pages of the same photo. That alone saves me money.
There were not a lot of directions for using all its functions such as scanning- but I found that going to the menu gave me all the help I needed.
Last, but not least, double sided printing is a breeze! It's fast and easy.
I'm counting on this printer lasting more than 3 years. I already believe it will go the distance.

I purchased an Epson WF-2530 All-in-one printer after comparing different printers and I am very happy with my purchase. The price was great. It's a perfect printer for home use. And it's wireless so it's more convenient. It was so easy to set up as well.
