This printer is fast, easy to set up and straight forward. Took no time to setup and easy to do. printer is fast and didn't break the bank. Would recommend to anyone.

Small but good

After owning and using it now for more than a month, I like it but have encountered a small problem. For some reason it won't scan from the machine, but will from the computer. It didn't do it when I first hooked it up, and short of uninstalling it, I can't get that fixed. This is my first time with a fax machine and it seems to run okay with that. It seems to run checks while you're sitting here and I guess that's okay. I kind of wish it had a auto shut off like coffee makers do. As with most of these, all you have to do is plug and use. Other than setting up with wifi, it just runs itself. The lcd screen is never in a good place to be able to read it without being within 6 inches of it. The features(all the buttons) are small but fairly easy to read as with the numbers on a dial phone. The ink supplys are like all the others, in that there are the standard ones and the XL ones. Printing seems to be fair, and the color is okay. Faxing can be done with either b/w or color, but depends on the receiver if they have a color machine. I thought it printed out when the page was received, but not with this one. It received 28 pages before it started to print them. So that took longer than expected. So all in all it's a decent machine, and fits in the space on my L shaped computer desk.

I was surprised by the excellent quality of the printer. I bought it for use with my MS Surface Pro but it also works with my network printers. Great little printer.

small but capable

My WF-2530 is a most capable machine. Even though it fits into the bottom draw of my desk, it has performed excellently. Color is rich and intense and maintenance is minimal. Actually, all I do is clean the glass and put paper in it and reload ink. Doesn't get much better than that.

Store rep recommended, went home did my homework and now I'm writing a review on the printer... 1st, printer is very easy to setup (wireless) about 20 minutes with no second guessing. 2nd, very smooth printing, very satisfied with print results. 3rd, printer and it's moving parts were securely packaged to ensure product integrity. I highly recommend this printer.

here's what I have so far. I set up the printer as directed and, immediately, I was unable to print via remote. But I called the help line and they were able to help me set it up further--it was more complex than it says in the directions book, but it's working now, so I'm happy. They should really ask for a review after about a month or so...I only have it for a day or two and have only used it once.
I would recommend this to a friend!
