Just Dont....

I have two of these in the family. They're poor to say the least, if there were zero stars I'd start there. I've have had to clean the print heads so much that I have used more ink cleaning them than printing. Every time I go to use this "none-in-one" I have spend more and more time supporting/fixing/cleaning it. It should not be this way.
It burns through ink (lots of cleaning) It prints very poorly if left to sit for more than a day requiring the heads to be cleaned. It using it it takes it takes the firmware MINUTES to figure out what we're asking of it. This applies for simple tasks like making a copy. The scanning software won't find the machine after the initial install requiring it to be re-installed again and again.
I won't do Epson again and won't let friends or family either.

The information is presented "geek style" and is not developed for a fast-food clientele. The words/terms/symbols are very confusing and the pictures are not much help. To make matters even worse - there is no tech support on Sunday! Sunday is probably the day of the week when most working people have the time to even contemplate setting up a new printer. It took me 3 hours to set up the printer. At this point in time - set-up time should be under 30 minutes...Did Epson ever hear of plug and play?

Frustrated

At first, I was satisfied with the performance of this printer. I thought it was too slow, but we don't have a high volume printing need so it would suffice. However, after blasting through ink like nobody's business with relatively few sheets, I've reached a level of frustration that could have me beating this printer with a hammer in no time. The big problem is that the printer will not continue to print without all the colors being full. Right now, I'm attempting to print in black - no can do because we are out of blue. There is nothing I can do now to get this to print, short of going out to buy blue, which I do not need. Great plan, Epson. I will be purchasing a black and white printing unit by another manufacturer soon.

The slowest copier/fax/ printer we have ever owned. Lasted 1 year, scanning bulb went and could not be replaced. Out of the blue, the machine will make noises while it resets itself. Save your money, do not purchase.

Printer Setup

Have to fair about the review. I have only printed a test page so the actual usage of the printer I have no comment on at this time. However, I must say the setup of the printer and the wireless feature was outstanding The easiest I have ever had to connect. Hopefully, the printer operation and print quality will be just as good.

Does very decent color printing, and the multi-document scanner makes handling large volumes of documents easier since you don't have to insert and remove each document as on a flatbed single page scanner, although you probably want to load no more than about 20 at a time. The one problem - and this seems to apply to all fax machines - is that if you use VOIP phone service faxes may not work; this is the case with Magicjack.

Broken after 6 pages

I hope this is just a fluke. Setup was easy and straight forward. Printed the test page. Then scanned and printed two pages. Set up wireless pringing from a 2nd computer and printed one page. GREAT! Next tried to print a picture from my iPad. Printed fine. Tried to print another page from iPad and the printer broke. Error message says paper feed error. There is no paper inside the printer. When turned off and then back on there is a rachating sound from the toothed belt at the back of the printer I think the belt trnsports the ink. The same error comes up. The printer goes back to the store for a replacement. A total of 6 pages printed before break down.

Awesome printer for the money. Perhaps the lowest price printer available from Epson, but print quality compares with the most expensive. Admittedly, I have never owned anything but an Epson since inkjet technology came out, because I worked at a computer store, and could see the print quality of all the available printers, and Epson was consistently the best. This is probably my 15th Epson printer, and I can only say it ranks up there with the best I have owned. I have 2 RX 595 printers, and they were the best, unfortunately, after my move to Florida, something mechanical went wrong, and no one fixes printers anymore. I will send them to Epson in hopes they can help, meanwhile, I needed a printer. I am totally satisfied with speed, colors, everything to do with this printer.
