I bought a epson wf-2530 printer last summer and changed the ink and printer does not work.

Scanner no longer "finds" my computer - forget it

Bought this in May 2014 precisely to have a small machine that could print and scan with wireless connection to my laptop. Worked all right for a few months, not without quirks. But suddenly my computer won't appear in the scanning menu. Did complete reinstall according to instructions, still the computer doesn't appear. Very dissatisfied. If I didn't mind spending extra time on my scanning, I'd be taking my scanning to my office on the weekends, it would have been faster than all my time and effort to get this printer to do its job. Won't buy Epson again.

Epson you need to change

Printer won't print a black and white paper if magenta is out. Kids can't print out high school papers because there is no magenta even though black is full. This makes no sense!!!

Very slow printing

This WF2530 printer is very slow, extremely slow. I had an Epson that is only 3 years old that I was very happy with but it got an error message after a paper jam that I could not get removed so I bought this new printer to replace the NX510. It takes a full minute to print one page. We are very unhappy with this "new"printer. I am going to look into having the old one repaired and returning this one.

epson print and fax machine

fax took about 30 minutes to fax about 10 pages. Very slow and the printer is slow. Would not buy another one

What has happened to Epson Quaility control?

It took THREE new printers before getting a workable unit. First printer the carriage would not move from the park position. The Second printer had no wireless transmision as well as a unreadable display. I am very suprised and disappointed with the Epson Quality control as the printers were new just out of the box. Three trips to the shopping center, hours trying to setup printers that will not work and finally MONEY paid to a technican get it all resolved.
Epson! A disapointed customer!!!

Well this one suffers from...
Slow print speed
average pic quality
communication errors
constant "jams" even when not using the paper feed... idl how but it does :(
I would NOT recommend
I truely have lost respect for this brand

Wireless 2530

I bought this and the WF-3520 and a Photo Sylus 3880 within a month or so of each other so I am a die hard Epson printer guy. I also have and R1800 and two more older 3 in ones and a regular printer. I love the new colors on the 3880 and prints are exquisite. The smaller ones work great and were easy to set up, are wireless and easy to move around. I also say get an Epson and do yourself a favor. Epson you make a great product. Love you papers (special ones) and inks. All a great package.
I would recommend this to a friend!
