Fine Quality Printer

Always have had Epson printers since my first computer and this is another high quality, easy-to-use unit. Had it for about a month and the ink lasts pretty good, the scanner works great for our PDF work documents & photos. Epson has always been our choice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

excellent FAX machine but wi-fi printer function keeps turning itself off and has to be reset and passkey re-entered all the time.
Ink cartridges are too small - need to be replaced too often.

I bought non-epson ink online as I have been doing with all my other printers.
Epson doesn't like that, and even when I bought epson ink, the printer would no longer work properly.

Would NOT recommend the WF-2530!

Not even worth a 1 STAR- but I was required to!
1) It shakes all over while "working".
2) It takes a "while" to start the task required (as if it needs to realllllly think about what it has to do before it does it).
3) The front panel is complicated to program and doesn't appear to "save" settings.
4) It is a complete INK HOG!
5) It will NOT print when cartridge is low- it completely shuts down! That reallllllly IRKS me! At least with other printers you can STILL print with low ink!
I ALWAYS save receipts, but somehow- I lost my the receipt, otherwise I would have returned it immediately!
I'm stuck with it-UGH!

Easy to setup

The Epson Workforce WF-2530 was easy to setup on both my PC and Mac laptops. The one most important factor in the setup was knowing your Network name and password.
Print quality is exceptional.
One tidbit, you can click on Quiet Mode while at the Properties window to keep the printer's volume minimal.
Overall, the Epson Workforce WF-2530 is an excellent printer for home and office use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought the printer today and already installed it. SUPER simple and we're not techies! The quality in B&W and color is truly good. Very, very pleased!!
