I just purchased this one because my Whirlpool microwave gave out after 12 years. Overall I think Whirlpool are good products. On the new one the buttons are smaller which is too bad.

Wonder in my kitchen

This micowave oven is wonderful it is so easy to use. It is a breeze cooking dishes.Theclock lights up my kitchen and I don't have to turn on the lights on to see anyhing atnight . It is my night light. I'm glad I purchase the microwave. Keep making the efficent appliances. Happy Customer, M.Willims

Quality construction and features

While installing our new Whirlpool microwave, I was impressed by the features. Specifically, the option to connect the vent fan to exhaust duct or not. The light is very effective and the fan is quiet. We mostly appreciate the action on the door. It's very easy to open and close quietly. The buttons and pre-programmed times are easy to use. I feel a great sense of relief having this unit.

The previous Whirlpool Microwave we had lasted 17 years, so it was a no-brainer for us. This particular model was just what we wanted. We need only to reheat and cook just a few items and this model does this very well. Plus, the size of the unit fit in our existing space very well.
