Microwave will last but door will not

A little over a year with the new microwave and the door cracked at the handle. Spent a couple hundred on a replacement door and after 1 1/2 years of being careful with opening, the replacement door handle is cracked.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

2nd unit to fail of the same model series

I replaced the orginal microwave with another of the same model because the hanging bracket was already mounted. This latest oven failed with the same problem as the first, quit heating. My next oven as withl the rest of my kitchen products will not be Whirlpool products.

Venting is not sufficent over range

Problems with blown light over range. Noted rusting in the light fixture area, realized that the venting is not sufficent when cooking on range top that the whole microwave becomes covered in condensation and moisture is affecting the light over range to the point of blown light and inability for light to be turned to half power vs full power vs off position! Light will only stay in ON position and blow out due to overheating. I have taken out the bulb but I have serious concerns over electrical fires due to condensation accumulation in the electrical areas of the microwave. The microwave itself is working fine. Very Poor Ventilation for an over the range microwave!!!!

Have same problem

Microwave not working correctly. No interior light and just gives a “door” error message. The light had been flicking in past few weeks.
It works on and off - I suppose it’s about to completely fail. Bought November 2015 and was in our renovated house for just under 2 years before it has been used. Elderly parent uses it and seems it is only giving us 7 months of use ! Disappointed !
