My Whirlpool microwave and dishwasher are very user friendly, they do the very things I need and do them well (without all of the complicated bells and whistles!), and they look so sharp, enhancing my kitchen!

quiet, easy to use

The microwave is doing everything I need it to do, mostly TV dinners or reheating leftovers. It is pretty easy to use, still getting the hang of the 'cook' functions, but usually I just enter the time to cook and hit start or press the 'add 30 sec' button a few times to do what I need. The display is bright and easy to read and the touch pad needs just a light press to operate.The door opens and closes easily, some other manufacturers seem to need a good tug or slam.It is reasonably quiet in operation and also the end of cook signal is just about right, not too annoying (like previous other makes I have used)The 2 speed fan is a little loud on high, but ok and the light is not particularly bright, with a 'warm' color hue and a high / dim option. I prefer a whiter light so may try to find a replacement bulb in LED with 5000k daylight color that would be brighter. My old eyes need all the help they can get ;)Overall, very happy with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the look and feel. Works very well including the fan (not too noisy which has been previous experience with this feature). On the negative side, I am use to just hitting the 1 for 1 minute vs 1.00. May just need to read the instructions :)
