Good basic microwave

Reasonably priced basic microwave. No complaints so far. Installation was a little tricky to do ourselves due to the weight of the unit, but we aren't pros.

it looks beautiful and i replace my GE with the whirlpool - good decision! downside is i did not receive a users manual, only multiple copies of installation guide and i'd like to know how to use shortcuts, codes and if there's any quick start options.

My vent is venting into the house. I have a vent to the outside of the house and the air is pushing up through the top of the microwave.

Was easily installed and functions well. The exhaust fan will activate automatically when the stove and oven produce too much heat. It can't be turned off manually. It seems a little sensitive, but may be necessary to preserve the unit.

I replaced my whirlpool with another whirlpool. My other was about 10 years old. The specs were very similar. It measured the same, but when I came to install it would not fit flush to the wall due to the new back brace that is not flat. Therefore it is a 1/4 inch difference from top to bottom. Does not seem to be a problem with function. Just I know there is that difference. Make adjustments for the difference, but for now it has to stay. Good product and more lightweight, better handle and no front vent. We use it to vent out.
