Easy Installation/Nice Features

Installation was very easy. Just follow the templates for drilling holes. My wife and I lifted it into place. It fit perfectly and looks great. It does a great job heating or defrosting. It has the right amount of features to handle all of our cooking needs.I have owned Whirlpool appliances before and enjoyed their features and reliability. I expect this microwave will carry on that tradition.

Great Microwave at a Good Price

We bought this microwave about five (5) months ago to replace our previous over the range microwave and it has not let us down. It heats food evenly and does a great job overall. I like the quick add 30 second feature, if you want to run something for 1:30, simply press the button three (3) times. My only complaint is that it is a little loud when the vent in on high. Overall, however, we are really pleased with our purchase.

Bought this a couple months back to replace one that was about 9 yrs old. It hangs a bit lower than the other but seems to cook fully and evenly...functions are pretty standard. I like the several night light settings. and hidden vent is nice too. As long as it lasts it will be great! For reheating and thawing frozen foods a microwave can't be beat.

Very Good Microwave

We were replacing a malfunctioning unit and decided to go with this Whirlpool based on other good reviews. I'm no installation expert and with no previous experience installing over-the range microwaves, I was able to install this unit, along with another person, in about 90 minutes. Someone with experience could have installed it in probably under an hour. We took the old unit down but found we couldn't use the old mounting bracket and had to use the bracket included with this unit. It came with a mounting template and was reasonably accurate. I repositioned the new mounting bracket and secured it to the outside wall and drilled new holes in the upper cabinet for the power cord and mounting screws. The unit mounted perfectly and am very happy with the way it turned out.The microwave works very well. I'm especially happy that baked potatoes turn out much better in this unit than with the old one. It's also a bit quieter than the old unit. The controls are easy to use and the buttons take little pressure to activate. The fan feature works well. The light under the unit is just ok. I just wish it was a bit brighter. The "add 30 sec" feature is handy.All in all, we are very happy with the Whirlpool and would recommend it.

Microwave a Great product

I bought this Whirlpool Microwave after we had another brand for a number of years. The old microwave was ok we were not really impressed even when it was new. The Whirlpool appears to be well made quiet and ready for service. The installation was easy and straight forward. We have had a Whirlpool Cabrio Washer and Dryer. We have had very good luck with these products as well as the service provided by the company service techs. We would recommend that anyone look at the Whirlpool products before purchasing another brand.
