Had to replace old one that shorted out.

I am very happy with this mocrowave and would rate it higher but the previous one which was a similar model and I was also happy with, started to short out and smoke. We only had it about 4 or 5 years. I hope this one last longer.

Love the 30 second button

We went from a huge counter-top microwave to a Microwave Hood unit. Love it!! And now the microwave is at eye level. When it comes time to buy an appliance, we choose Whirlpool whenever possible.

I had a old micr0wave up yours so bought a new one to replace it. Installed it and only worked for a week before I had to replace it. Took it back rather than having it fixed. started to act up on 2nd day should never of left the plant.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like the style and look of this microwave. However, I'm not really crazy about the defrost feature; I think it might need some tweaking on the length it has pre-programmed into defrosting; it starts cooking the product. It also doesn't cook quite as hot as my 10 year old microwave did, which I'm not exactly sure why. Although it's very large inside, the turntable is very small, another feature I have to get used to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The operating instructions are vague, and difficult to understand. For instance: enter2.1 and there is no decimal point on the key pad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great heating speed. Easy to use and operate. I use this on almost a daily basis and have enjoyed how quick it heats the food, using the key pad, and keeping it clean.
