Great Features, Great Price

This unit has more features than my previous(GE) unit. It does all I could ask for,at a price significantly below its competitive models

This product has more room for larger bowls than most.

It's okay

I wouldn't buy low end Whirlpool appliances for my primary home, I have LG appliances there but for a vacation home they are okay. Whirlpool had to replace the refrigerator do to poor workmanship with the stainless steel finish. If I had to do this over, I would take a longer look at other products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New Microwave Review

After using this microwave for over a month I can say that I am very happy with my purchase. It not only looks much better than the previous model but it's easier to use. Also the lights are brighter and the fan is more powerful. Both of these features have variable stages as well which is also nice. So far there has been nothing to not like, it has performed well and it is quiet while on. I think Whirlpool is ahead of the competition and I would purchase more of their products.

I bought my house new 10 years ago and this brand was in it from the beginning. It worked flawlessly for all those years. The unit was heavily used daily. Last month it began to work erratically. I thought I'd try a different brand, a mistake. That brand cost more and was much louder. I used it for a week and returned it. I should have stayed with Whirpool. Just check with Consumer Reports.

Good for the price

I've only had this microwave for a month now and so far it has outperformed my previous cheap microwave in every way. The buttons are configured nicely and the fan is fairly quiet. I am yet to see an above-stove microwave that does a good job controlling and exhausting the steam and smoke from the stove. Otherwise it'squite nice.
