Easy to use. Having codes on inside of the door is an asset. No fumbling for a booklet or cd. none technology savvy husband can use it without problems.Simplifies life. Glad it was purchased last this May! Am a Whirlpool fan.

Control Panel Blew in 9 months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The control panel went out in 9 months. Whirpool is fixing it as it is under 1 year warranty. However, this rating is for the product, not the service.

I needed to replace my beat up old GE over-the-range microwave and decided on this Whirlpool model because of many good online reviews and because it matches my Whirlpool electric range. Very powerful unit, heats food really fast, and the exhaust fan gets rid of smoke efficiently.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love my new Whirlpool microwave. Efficient, adds much to the 'look' of the kitchen. Equally important, Shouse personnel were fantastic and installation people helpful and efficient.

Just what we were looking for!

Our old microwave died and I was looking for a new one. We have decided to switch our appliances over to stainless steel instead of black, so this is our first one. So far, so good! It worked great, looks nice, and cleans up beautifully.The main reason I bought this model is that on a popular website it was rated almost 5 stars (out of 5), with a few thousand reviews. That seems almost unheard of for an appliance, so I was impressed and figured it would be a good model to buy.The only negative I'll give it is that our old microwave had a feature where if you hit 1-6, it would automatically start at that minute. For example, you hit 1, you got 1:00 of cooking time starting with no other buttons needing to be pushed. I miss that. Otherwise, it has everything we need.
