Cautiously Satisfied Customer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this microwave to replace a microwave that was only a few years old when the magnetron went out. Replacing the magnetron would have cost about as much as buying a new microwave, so we opted for the new microwave.So far, we're pleased with this new unit. Installation was a breeze as the new microwave was the same size as the one we were replacing. (Word to the wise, Whirlpool microwaves are a little taller than many of the other popular brands on the market. The size discrepancy would have meant tile work for us, so, hesitantly, we opted to go with another Whirlpool.) I prefer the white interior of this microwave to the stainless interior of our original unit. The stainless was much more difficult to keep clean. Let's just hope this microwave works longer than the last one!

Good looking microwave and works great. It has many features like lights and exhaust fan with 2 speeds, very powerful also. Would highly recommend to all interested in over the range microwave.

Whirlpool Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave works great. I only dislike two features. The clock light is too bright which makes the numbers hard to read from a distance. I could read the numbers from a distance on my 15-year old microwave but the blue numbers are not readable unless you're up close. The other thing that I disliked was that this microwave did not fit any of the old parts (the bracket or holes on top for screws. I bought the same brand because the salesman said it should fit. Nothing was the same. The old bracket was heavy duty and the same size as the back of the microwave. The new bracket was about one-sixth the size of the new microwave and very thin and flimsy. But by the time you remove the packaging and get started, it's too much trouble to bring back to the store.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the vent
