This microwave was replacing a 15 year old one. I was hoping the wall brackets would be the same - but the microwave has been redesigned and you must use the new mounting system. It wasn't that difficult with a helper. The fan system on this new one is very quiet and improved over the older model. No literature came with it to explain the auto program system and there is nothing on the internet about it. It needs some cooking instructions so you aren't guessing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally my 20 year old Whirlpool microwave with this, and I'm glad I did. It is simple to use and does the job. It heats food evenly. I'm happy with the consistent quality of my Whirlpool appliances.

After many years of faithful service, my old microwave "died"...it was a Whirlpool and I LOVED it! So, when it was time to get another one, I, of course, wanted a Whirlpool!! My step-dad and I took the old one out and installed the new one...the directions were SO easy to follow...it took us less than an hour!! It is even better than the old one!!! It looks super in my new kitchen (we remodeled a few years ago)...I LOVE the features it has and the ease of operation...If I can figure out how to use the buttons...ANYONE can!! I can't say enough good things about this, and ALL my Whirlpool appliances! Great job!!

We recently remodeled our kitchen and added a built in microwave. This model is easy to use and clean. I like the 1000 watts and rotating tray. It meets our needs well!

Great Microwave

My husband and I purchased this microwave a while ago, but just recently got it installed as part of a kitchen renovation. The microwave is very easy to use, and heats things up in much less time than we're used to, which is great!

The new microwave works quickly, heats up the food thoroughly, in one shot. Cleaning it is easy, exterior shines like new. I recommend this microwave to anyone who cooks.
