I bought two Sonicare for kids brushes at our dentist after some concerning appointments. We have always made sure the kids brush twice a day, but let's be honest - kids are picky eaters and most food they eat is havoc on their teeth. We went from 3 cavities in one year to none for the last two years. My only complaint is how well the brushheads attach. They seem to pop off too easily

This is a very reliable, easy-to-use toothbrush; however, I wish it was possible to choose the replacement head size and not have to purchase both sizes each time.

We were thrilled to purchase such an effective toothbrush for our son who has teeth/enamel issues. After only a short time of usage, we noticed a positive difference in how clean his teeth got and stayed. The brush heads are so costly, though, that whenever our 5 year old was sick (he battled bronchitis many times last year) we would immediately switch back to a "throw away" brush. His health was so mediocre that we let his Sonicare sit for several months. Upon returning to use it, we went to switch the head and it was covered in mold. Needless to say, we haven't had our son use it again. ...disappointment.
Pros: cleans teeth amazingly!
Cons: molds under the brush head!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the timer it shows her how long she should brush her teeth, so when she chooses to use a manual toothbrush she brushes longer. I will need to buy new brush heads soon but so far have only found the original 2 pack with small and medium heads - would like to have the option to purchase the brush heads in one size either small or medium.

Great toothbrush for kids!

This is a great toothbrush for kids! I love the 2 minute timer on it. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I am not sold on the 3 stages of beeping to switch to cleaning a new area of your mouth. My husband and I feel like it should be divided into 4 sections of brushing. We just ignore the beeps and teach our son how to brush all areas of his mouth in sections. We have had this toothbrush for about 4 months now.

My 10 and 6 year old were not brushing very adequetly with their manuel toothbrushes. As a result, their last visit to the dentist was not good and both had cavities. My sister referred me to Sonicare for kids and it has been phonomenal ever since. One of the best features is the a built in timer on the Sonicare toothbrush. This gives me piece of mind knowing my kids are brushing for a full 2 minutes. In addition, the kids barely have to do any work, just change position when they hear the chime from the Sonicare toothbrush. My 10 year old loves the vibration from brushing and claims it is like a message for this teeth and gums.
So far from what I can tell, my kids don't have an issue with brushing their teeth and actually enjoy it now. The Sonicare also keeps a long charge. I am so impressed with the product I am looking to get the adult version Sonicare for my husband and I.
