Enjoy but liked the older model better

We have three children and three Sonicare toothbrushes for our children. All of our children love the toothbrushes and I would recommend them to anyone EXCEPT that I am disappointed in this new model compared to the older model. The older version came with 2 toothbrush heads, which were two different sizes. This model only comes with one toothbrush head and it is the bigger sized one.....which is a bit big for my youngest child. The smaller heads are still available but I would have to spend additional money for the smaller sized ones which I can only find them online and not in stores. The stores only sell the larger sized heads. This one also has stickers for the toothbrush and the older model had a faceplate with a sticker already attached. All of our stickers for this toothbrush have fallen/peel off all of the time. Although they may seem like small concerns, the older model was a better purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This toothbrush does work well, however, I bought it for my daughter when she became old enough to use an electric toothbrush and my son had already had the older model. The stickers on the new model fall off immediately, the older model had interchangeable panels that were great (I would only recommend that they have a pink or purple option for the girls if they decide to go back to this in the future). Also, the music on the newer model is harder to hear and less of a musical tone, more like a beeping. Not as appealing to the kids. I also prefer the base in the older model. Not only does it hold spare brush heads, it's also a wider base which is more balancing for the brush. The kids knock the newer toothbrush over a lot because it is not as sturdy. We are in need of 2 more toothbrushes for "Grandma's house" but to be honest, I will wait to purchase more until they make some changes more like the older model or have the older model available again.

Time cycle way too short, even my 5 year old kid had noticed. She told me she has to restart it twice in order to complete the brushing. Hello? Even a 5 years old girl had noticed, just make you wonder who did the product testing ......

This toothbrush is being used by a 2 1/2 year old. He simply loves using it and I, as an overprotective Mom, feel that it is doing an excellent job at cleaning his itty bitty teeth.
There is a feature that after every 25 seconds it makes a buzzing noise to indicate switching to a new section of the teeth to be cleaned. Nice feature for an older child, but my little one doesn't understand what the noise is for though he thinks its cool.
The only feature missing from this toothbrush is that it have a song play thoughout the brushing process. Then it would definitely keep my child interested in the entire brushing process. That is the reason why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.
Pros: excellent job at cleaning teeth, brush head right size for mouth, eye catching colors, 2 minute timer
This would be an excellent toothbrush except that for the brush for smaller children the bristles come out, usually in his mouth. Other than that the concept is good, the musical timing is effective and he loves having his own power toothbrush.
Cons: bristles come out on the young child brushes.
very easy to use and kids love to brush with it. Timer also helps them keep on track.
Pros: kids are interested to brush, long battery life
Cons: changeable face plate falls is an annoyance, smaller handle size could help for 4-6 year olds
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used sonicare products for many years now, and I really like them. We bought this toothbrush for our son, who will be 4 in a couple of weeks. The box looks amazing, and my son was very exciting with all the pictures of the handle stickers (it says it contains 8), and the sticker sheets (it says it contains 2). When we open the box, NOTHING, just a plain white toothbrush, no stickers, no nothing. My son was very disappointed (he loves stickers and color). I was able to convince him to use the toothbrush, but it is very upsetting that the box advertising make a big deal about colors, stickers and whatnot, and it is just not true (having "fun toothbrush" played a role in the decision to purchase this product)
