I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of hook up of this printer. I am not very computer literate and I did this in no time. I did not use the USB cable and it worked fine. I would definitely recommend this printer to everyone.

I read reviews on a lot of printers, none were to my liking. Finally came across the Epson xp-310. My search was over. This printer does it all. Easiest printer to set up. Plug in the power cord and the printer will do the setup for you. Put the disk in your computer and wifi will be setup for you automatically by the software. Prints great pictures, they even look good on plain paper. This printer starts up fast, and I mean fast. Press the on button, and before you can count to 5 she is ready to print. She shuts down equally as fast. You can even print photos from your camera's memory card. Incredible little machine. It even looks good. The best all in one printer I have come across.

My New Epson XP-310

I am so pleased with this printer...love the wireless capability and the crystal clear, superfast printing! I also love the separate ink cartridges, having each color in a different pod makes it so great to just replace the one color if you run out of it and not have to replace the whole thing!
This printer is designed to be so pretty and the lighted control panel that you can raise and lower is just fantastic! Makes printing so much easier and so much fun!
I think this is just the all-around best printer/scanner/copier I've ever had!

Mighty Big Compact Printer

A super hero of printing. Have one at my work desktop and one at home. Super features. I strongly recommend the Epson xp-310! I does great color on photos from my iPhone and scans documents easily. I use it as a tool for my publications at work - like business cards, etc. Printing postcards and envelopes are easy. Love it!

Epsom XP-310 All-In-One-Printer

When I read the directions and it suggested that the wireless connection would be best achieved by using a USB cable (just for the initial connection). I was concerned. Since I did not have the cable, I called the Epsom toll free number and the representative gave me directions to set it up without the cable and sent me an email that allowed the printer-scanner to be downloaded. And that was easy. I started using the scanner immediately and was very impressed with the quality of the photos scanned. The process is very easy to add the photos to my picture library. All of the other features work well, also. I will probably purchase other Epsom products in the future.

Does the job

I am a textile artist and purchased this machine as I was very disappointed with the performance of my previous printer/copier.
I use the machine for all the normal day to day stuff but, primarily, I wanted a machine that I could use for image and photo transfer work on fabric. It prints on fabric sheets,acetate, and transfer paper excellently with great color.
The only thing, I think, you would need to be aware of in printing with the "photo" setting is that on transfer mediums it does not give you a better product,in fact, the printer puts out more ink than the paper can absorb leaving you with a blurry image. The good news is that printing on "plain paper" setting works extremely well and saves you ink.
Great little machine and great price.
