Going have to return this unit as whoever put it together got the scanner control tape caught under a plastic tab and the scanner won't work. It gets stuck about 2 inches into it's run.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Little Printer!!

Don't let it's size fool you. This printer can keep up with and surpass any home printer I have owned. This unit replaced a Kodak aio. The size on this printer is just right to be on a desk. Performance is great, quick printing and clear copies. The only con is the ink seems to run out quickly. My black ink is down to 25% after only about 100 sheets. But I love this printer!!!

I love this little printer, it small but BIG on proformance. Installation was a breeze...setup my Ipad first thinking it would be more difficult but it was so easy then setup laptop Windows 8 and it was very simple. I read all directions 1st and was done within minutes. hold plenty of paper, copies are good. Haven't used scan or photo printing yet but if its as good as my Epson Artisian I will be very happy. I was apprehensive purchasing this printer because the price was so reasonable but happy I did.

Love it! Just bought it and used it for a couple days only, but so far, it has been impressive! Serves the purpose of why I bought it: small, wireless, capable of printing off of my two laptops and tablet, it copies, prints and scans.
I would recommend this to a friend!

10% product code

I did not realize that this new product code did not apply to the ink. It would be considerate if you mentioned that with the code rather than just saying exclusions.

Print from Microsoft Surface and WindowsRT devices
on January 26, 2014

Note: This is written on the first day of using it.
1) I installed this on a Windows 7 PC. I didn't have a USB cord, so I entered my network password using the printer's LCD buttons. It wasn't too tedious.
2) I then connected my Microsoft Surface (via Settings>Change PC settings>Add a device). The Surface automically downloaded the driver, so I didn't need the Epson disc. It is really nice to be able to print wirelessly from my Windows tablet without having to go through any apps.
3) I also like the compact size, and how the trays are retractable when I am finished printing.
4) Copying failed both times I tried. The printer will leave extra 1x1 inch blotches on one or two corners. So expect either not to use the copy feature when you buy this.
5) The paper feeder is very sensitive. If you don't put the paper in just so, the print will come out slightly crooked, which happened on two of the first four prints. You will need to be meticulous if you want the print to be perfectly straight.
6) This is a bit slower than other printers. But for occasional home use, that's fine with me.
I'll try to update this after I've had a chance to see how long the ink lasts. Overall, I would recommend this for general home use, and not for any professional or bulk printing needs.
