I spent over five hours trying to get the Wi-Fi connectivity to work and have yet to be successful. The Wi-Fi link is alledged to be up but I cannot make it work. If I hard wire the printer it works fine. If it is a simple matter to make the Wi-Fi work the instructions are inadequate.

I have had nothing but problems with this printer since I got it. There are so many times I have had to uninstall and reinstall that I am getting fed up with it and am starting to look at other printers, not from Epson.

It works...

I liked the price. Not sure I like getting only 175 copies out of a cartridge, but I'm going to give this a try. It's loud and clunky, and the gripper that grips the paper is way over on the right side, so unless you have the paper guide tight against the stack of paper, it'll feed crooked, and therefore print crooked. I think it'll be okay, but it certainly doesn't WOW me.

worst printer ever

I bought this printer to replace a trusty 6-year-old Epson Stylus cx3810, which I damaged the paper feed on. Mostly, I need a copier for black and white music charts, and for printing copies of checks for my work as a gardener.
This is the slowest copier I have ever used, and not for a high-quality images Just to copy a printed page it is extremely slow- worse, it mis-feeds and crimps so much paper, the loss is easily 30 percent or more.
The tiny screen is almost unreadable, and I can't figure out how to get a quick or draft copy. Why not just have a COPY button?
I picked this printer because the ink replacement was cheaper, although I wanted an epson product because of my previous experience with large-format printers, the 1400 and the 2200--still working. The xp-310 gives disappointing quality color images. as well.
