This is my second Epson Printer (I wanted to go to a wireless printer when I redid my office). They are excellent products: well designed, flawless in function and quite user friendly. Setup is a breeze. And print quality is excellent. I also want to commend your customer service personnel. A few months ago I had occasion to call them and they were very courteous and helpful. A good product and a good company! Congratulations and thank you!

For the price paid, it's ok but it is very annoying that you can't get it to print in B&W if one of the color cartridges is low/out of ink. What is up with that ?

Set Up

Being a tech savvy person I expected the set up to be relatively easy. But this was way easier then I had even thought. Epson did a GREAT job at making it easy for even a non-tech person to do. I was amazed at how accurate both the printed material and on screen prompts were. I have immediately bought one for my daughter who needed a printer. I am sure she can set it up without problems.

Satisfied with Printing and Scanning

I am very happy with printing using both wired and via wireless networking. The good thing about it is that I could purchase the inks (CMYK) as needed. I can not complain about the speed on both Mac/Apple and PC platform. Price is very reasonable too.

I only have to say software loaded with out a hitch,wi-fi connected in a snap, print is perfect. I used the scan and it went without a problem. Yes I recommend this product for your general home use. The price is great for what you get in performance.

Start-up not yet complete

Just bought Epson 310 today and now in the process of start-up. Haven't had a chance to print anything except test page. Test page looked good. I have had several Epson printer and am sold on the print quality. All previous Epson printers died after the warranty had expired (two to four years). Each case was print head failure which is not replaceable. No two of my printers used the same cartridges. Don't understand why Epson would want a review before the set-up is complete and I haven't even started set-up on the other computer/

Initial Impression - Just Unpacked / Setup

Overall it is a great little unit so far. Wireless setup is quick and relatively easy. Print quality is excellent so far. Time will tell on day to day usage. So far the only cons is that the paper trays have a very cheap and flimsy feel to them. Also the tray that holds the paper appears to lean back in the instructions but does not in practice. It also folds itself back down easily causing the paper supply to fall over. Still, with the paper standing straight up it does work. Beyond that flaw it is a good value so far. But at this point it cost Epson a couple of stars.
