I recently discovered that when this printer is out of only one color cartridge it will not print a single character until the cartridge is replaced. Another words the printer can be 75% full of ink and will not print a single page even in black and white or draft only mode. Epson apparently looks at this as a feature to make the printer last longer. I look at it as a design flaw. No override for a page, no work around, no way. I will not repurchase

Prints well, scans well BUT:
I have to go through the WiFi setup almost weekly because of issues with my internet connection. The printer does not (as my computer and cell phone do) automatically reacquire the network after a lost connection. With the complex password my router uses it's a hassle. I called their help desk and confirmed that the printer does not have this feature. Had I known this before I bought this model it would have been worth a couple of bucks to me to get that feature on a different model.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epson XP 310 series

I absolutely love this printer. The features are very instrumental to my line of work in the marketing retail business. I viewed and researched several products before making my decision to buy this unit. It was very easy to install and operate. I mainly bought it due to wifi access and mobile smartphone capabilities. I needed to be able to print documents and/or forms from other locations on my smartphone. There is only one issue that I think needs addressed. I have wifi hooked up to my unit but yet I still can't enter my smartphone information. Each time I try it states that my unit and email has not been entered. I have entered both several times. I could be doing something wrong more than likely. I am contacting the company to try and correct the issue. Even if the problem can't be resolved I still plan to keep this unit as it does an excellent job and has great features. I already printed several documents and pictures and the quality of my copies are simply amazing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor User Instructions

The set up instructions provided with the printer are extremely poor and are not helpful to a first time user at all.
I had to spend a full hour on the phone before I could set up and use the printer. The setting up documentation is almost useless. Bad user instructions may take the sheen off what may be a good product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad Printer

This printer is the worst printer I have ever owned. We have an XP-300 works great the XP-310 is terrible. Even tried uninstalling and re-installing and it doesn't print most documents. It can't even do its own printer test that come with the printer. I have taken this printer offline and am getting ready to trash this printer. Not a Happy Customer

I just got the printer today. Love the picture quality. but can not figure out how to get the printer to work wireless. Which was one of my main issues with buying a new printer was so that I could print without hooking up my laptop every time I want to print.
