What a hassle trying to setup this printer. Could not connect from my laptop. Got error message when trying to locate printer 'active directory temporarily unavailable' research to troubleshoot and recommendation was download driver directly from Epson. That file was huge 101 mb and got an Eset Threat, for some program called 'Serif PhotoPlus Starter'. What a nightmare.

THE PRICE WAS RIGHT. i USUALLY DO MY HOMEWORK BEFORE i PURCHASE ANYTHING, THIS TIME i COMPARED 3 BOXES IN THE STORE. THIS BOX WON. PC EDITORS CHOICE ON THE BOX WAS THE DECIDING FACTOR. GOT IT HOME, FOLLOWED THE EASY INSTRUCTIONS AND I AM MAKING COPIES IN NO TIME. REALLY GOOD COPIES. IT TAKES UP LESS ROOM ON MY DESK THAN MY LAST PRINTER AND THAT IS GOOD TOO. I CAN'T BELIEVE EPSON CAN MAKE A QUALITY ALL-IN-ONE WITH SUCH A LOW PRICE AND HAVE REASONABLE PRICED INK TOO. GOOD JOB EPSON!!

I purchased an Epson printer because of a consistently good name over the years. I am pleased with the quality of the copies I have made . I like the readily availability of information and instructions. I found the operation of my Epson XP-310 to be easily understood by a senior citizen. The instructions were easily understood. However, one instruction should be changed. When instructing me in the method of inserting the ink, it would have been very helpful to know that the ink should be shaken prior to inserting the cartridge. You instructions did not say to do so until after insertion. You cannot take for granted that everyone already knows that. I did eventually start printing a readable text so I did not have to purchase the ink cartriges again on a limited income.
Thank you so much for this opportunity to express my review. Continue to provide your quality products to us and we will continue to purchase them.

seriously?

8 pages of greyscale before it stopped printing. Not sure if I just got a lemon or if the other reviews are from Epson people. "Ink cartridges are not recognized" is the message even though it's all Epson cartridges that were included. Wireless never worked correctly while all my other wireless devices were seemless. I've had a bunch of printers and this is hands down the worst money I ever spent.

I didn't know how to select a printer, but I knew I wanted WIFI and something easy to use. I decided to go with the Epson XP-310 because it was small and compact. The set-up was so easy. I was not sure I could do it but it directed me every step of the way. The printer picks up the WIFI and prints very fast. I will recommend to friends who are looking for a small affordable printer.

Having found myself needing to rebuild my system & tools such as my new printer I got 3 months ago but no real time to setup properly. Anyway since the last time I owned a Epson which was one of those that banged out the keys. Very loud. Long time ago & I have had quite a few more but I have got to say that the XP-310 was the most easiest printer I have ever had the pleasure of setting up. No kinks in the software. Compared to price, value, ease of use just to mention a few of the highlights to what you will find using this printer. I recommend that you don't use the CD to start but carefully download the latest software online then only use the cd in an emergency. I hope that the sales goes through the roof for these printers because you will find only a few rock solid printer companies like Epson maker of the XP-310 who knows a thing or 2 about printers. Another big thing is that ink directly from the company is reasonable. As C.E.O. & Founder of Ample Green Foundation I highly recommend this printer above some that are a brain busters but this is a wiz bang you are done.
I found the Epson website very easy to find my way around using simple logic & of course using the pull down menus that were very easy to find what I was looking for, which was as much information about my wonderful XP-310 which is all I had to type in to find all the software plus educational videos. The videos were well done of the ones that I watch. Using Epson back when was basically just as easy to use today but I got sidetracked from those who truly understand the part a good printer plays in the use in an every day office.

This small printer is just the right size to fit in my home office. Reasonably priced, it delivers all features as promised. The set-up was quick and easy and did not need to purchase the usb cable since I was able to connect without it. The print speed is nice and fast too.

I'm usually pretty good with printers and scanners. This device is a bit difficult. I turn it off when not in use and when I turn it back on, it does not power on. I have to unplug the cord for 5 mins and plug it back and then power on the printer. I am not able to scan. I can scan from one user account on my laptop, cannot scan from the other one. I mean it should not be this difficult. Maybe it's easier if you have only one user account ? why does it work on one and not the other?I find myself wasting time troubleshooting whenever I need to use it. It randomly goes in "offline" mode
