Install had one momentary glitsch. Backed up one step and re-entered command ---> install smooth. Online registration screen from disc came up blank. Went to site to register. First two tries with correct SN site failed to accept. Tried third time with same number and registration accepted. Other than that, all is just fine for us. I am a published novelist, so this puppy will receive a work-out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Economical, compact, and multi-purpose! Simply put, this printer is ideal for something to use at home as well as for most professional matters! A superb all-in-one printer!

Disposable printers?

Sadly, I review this Epson 310 with a lingering bad taste from our previous Epson 400 series printer. The printing was fine for the 400 and is fine for the 310. The price is pretty good, almost to the point of becoming disposable. But I did not expect the sheet feed mechanism to break down within a year of owning the 400. So if it wasn't for that bad experience I would change my 3 stars to 4 or maybe even 5 stars. Without that failure of the 400 printer I would recommend this line of printers to a friend. But even at the low price I do not feel right about throwing out printers when they fail so quickly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great little printer, easy to set up and to use. The printing is excellant too. It's better than I expected for the price. Most other reviews were good and that influenced me to buy this one.

Hard to use

To hard to use. Every time you need to go from copy to print on the computer you need to reprogram the copy machine. It only takes a second but my husband has problems with it.Price was right, refile ink is cheap and it prints very nice. I would not buy it again though.
