Easy Setup and Great value

I am in the 55+ age group and was able to set this up in under 30 minutes. Printing is clear and fast enough. I had the extra cable at home, but didn't need it to set up for my Mac and it immediately was recognized on all my devices.

If my printer is not used for 3 hours or longer in order to get it to print it has to be turned off then turned back on to work!! Sort of defeats the purpose of wireless printing. I can not find anything on how to fix this problem......its a real pain!! Any help is appreciated!.

The printer was very easy to set up. The entire process took 45 minutes going slowly. This includes the time I opened the box and printed, copied, and scanned my first page. The printing was clear and colors bold.

So far . . . So good. I must say that the set up process was almost completely painless. It took several tries to get the WIFI connected to my mobile hot spot but after I did things seemed to work good. Test page printed crooked but a re-alignment of the paper feed took care of that problem. A few of the reasons I chose this printer was 1) the size (footprint), I'll be using this printer on the road with me and I wanted a device that wouldn't take up much room. It's a bit larger than I wanted but the smaller printers didn't have the features I wanted. 2) WIFI - I wanted a device I could use without dragging a bunch of extra cables around with me. I've got enough of those for my other electronic devices already. 3) the price of the device and the replacement ink - The price of this printer was not much higher than comparable devices without WIFI and the replacement ink was about $10 less than the competition. The wireless scanning was fast (scans twice?) and you can't use the WIFI scan function from the printer keypad (it shows only the USB connection choice) so WIFI scanning can only be done from the PC or device your WIFI is connected to. WIFI printing is pretty slow, almost annoyingly so and the image printed way too large for the 8.5X11 paper (not sure why) but after playing around with the settings it did better on the next print. Pre-set features were for photo settings however WIFI printing is fairly seamless and easy. Couple of clicks and done. Installation and replacement of ink is a bit tight for big hands but is simple enough. It requires a light touch so as not to damage the carrier. It seems fairly flimsy. Over all, not a bad printer for small and simple scanning and printing. The only thing that would make this device better is the option to connect to a 12 volt DC system as well as 120 Volt AC.

This an outstanding piece of equipment.
A lot of thought went into to the design, to include the instructions to install it.
It is perfect for the home office.
No fuss no muss .... its operational.
Congratulations on job well done.
