XP-310 printer

While I have no doubt, the printer will eventually work, setting the machine up is an act of pure frustration. I have invested 15 hours over 3 days and it still refuses to recognize my password. I even went so far as to purchase the required USB cord for direct hook up, all with no luck. I am at the point I am going to contact my WiFi provider and request they get it to work.

I am SO frustrate with this printer cuz IT will not print in black when the other color ink is low which makes it more difficult to complete my task that I want it in black only. It will only pop up the question once when it asked me if I wanted to print in black and not see that question again til the next time around and I even did choose the black/grayscale box and it still wont print.

Lack of directions for Epson XP-310

I think that your instructions for operating the printer are wholly inadequate. I understand copying etc. But other settings instructions are not available i.e., knowing that borders and no borders makes a difference on printing etc. Or trying to figure out how to reduce or enlarge. I have spent hours on the internet, youtube, blogs etc. trying to find answers. This is not my first printer I have had several. The last printer I had was an Officejet 5610 all-in-one printer. I had no problems learning how to use it. Is there a video online that I could view to learn this printer. I think this is awful that you don't have anything available other than the so called "instructions" that came with printer. Deeply disappointed. I am sorry I bought this printer. I am going to try to find a second hand printer that I can afford. I live on a fixed income or I would try to buy a new one.
I forgot to mention that I think I will be horribly disappointed in the ink usage. I already am.

I purchased the printer yesterday thinking that when they say wireless everything would be easy and wireless but no..it's a pain and I registered my printer online and it still says it's unregistered on the printer. It's annoying and frustrating ready to take it back already

Worst printer I have ever owned

I've owned several Epson printers and this one by far has been the worst. Ink ran out in just a few printings, after trying to print and would not print images. Would not hook up with my wifi. Plus new cartridges cost as much as the printer. THIS ONE GOES IN THE TRASH.

Very disappointed. Third times I went to use the printer every other line does not appear. Two daughters in college printing many papers. My husband spent 2 hours cleaning printer just so we were able to print one term paper. Then had to reclean it. Still the photo I went to print had lines through it. So we are cleaning again.

Provides several grades of print options. I often use the "draft" option for my personal notes and schedule.
Good quality of printing.
Runs out of ink too quickly but not excessively expensive to replace ink.
