Dead right out of the box

I've bought and installed hundreds of printers over my 30 year career as Field Service Engineer, but this is the first time I've ever found a completely dead printer right out of the factory box. I also had problems with an Epson RX595, that didn't last very long before going completely dead. Apparently, you get what you pay for, and these cheap Epson printers have expensive ink cartridges, that end up costing more than the printer after two ink replacements.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Garbage

I know it's cheap, but it becomes trash in about 6 months. Won't feed paper straight. Wastes ink by printing on and off. Need to clean print heads after every few pages. Just awful. Spend some money, because this wouldn't be a bargain if it was free.

Once I got every thing started it is a great a great product. It prints great papers. Easy to get going and not so hard to pick up how to work everything. Most of the printers I have had are a little tough to get going. I might also say that I never buy to off brand. This a quality product and easy to use. I might also say that a good product at a very affordable price.
I would say this is the best machine yet, I have gotten.

The quality of the print is very nice, however if you have a large amount of printing this is not the printer to use. I purchased this printer for my school to print the textbooks on, its a small 25 page book and this printer uses far to much color ink to print only black text.

First time buyer

I have used this printer for 5 or 6 weeks prints well but I must say sounds as if is falling apart, when paper enters printing stage I never know if it will print as the gears sound as if they are not matching up. Would I buy one again NO.

Cheap - You get what you pay for

Inferior printer. One of the many things I do not like about this Epson is with the scan feature. There is no Automatic Document Feeder feature! Meaning you can not scan with the feeder tray, you must place each page individually on the glass, then scan, then add the next page. So if you have a 10 page document, it takes forever to scan! Second, the ink heads get clogged constantly and the printer thinks it is out of ink. Third, the paper gets jammed constantly also. My recommendation is pay a few dollars more and get yourself a better printer.

one of the worst printers ever

I bought this one and the 410 the 2 worst printers on the planet. constant error messages, so it having Wi-Fi is pointless because your constantly running back and forth, the ink goes soo very quick and its not cheap, I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy!!!!
