Somewhat trroblesome

Mechanical part of installation went very quickly. This is the third Epson printer I have set up. My DV drive would not recognize the disk supplied with the unit. After 3 or 4 tries at loading it, I went to internet site and within 10 minutes downloaded necessary software and had the printer operating. Understand others have had this problem, as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ink issues

Only use maybe 50 times in six months one ink cartridge is empty and can't print anything in tell change cartridge so I just bought a new compo pack and know the printer don't work at all it prints but nothing is on the paper it's blank.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Printer Missing Important Feature

This is a great printer. It easily connects wirelessly to my devices for printing and scanning. The printing speed is average and the quality is fine. However, it does NOT print front and back. I very rarely have something I want to print that won't be front and back. So every time I print I have to stand at the printer and feed the paper through one page at a time. Needless to say I will be switching printers soon, even though this is a great printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

would be nice if you printed the serial # up front or on a sticky page on the front of machine ,OR were it is on your set up first page

runs out of ink to quickly

I was excited to get a printer that would print from my phone.It worked great until I noticed that I had to replace the ink every month sometimes twice a month.It wont work if one of the ink colors are out.You have to have all the ink colors working just to use the black ink.

ink cartridges have to be replaced constantly

we use this printer for small, infrequent school projects (1 or 2 pages) and in 4 months have had to replace the cartridges twice which are expensive. we have to order them online. bad purchase - the cheap base price is just a hook to the many ink cartridges you will have to buy
