Only buy if you want a disposable vac :(

I was really excited about this vac when I saw it. Black + Decker is a name that we have always considered one to trust, with quality products. Not this time ...
For the first couple of weeks it was as useful as I anticipated. I was really happy with it.
Then the battery life started to get shorter and shorter, until it held so little of a charge that it was impossible to vacuum up even the smallest space. After just a few short months the battery was completely dead. And as others have noted, the battery is not replaceable. If I had realized that it was going to be a "throw-away" purchase, I would have never even considered purchasing it. Also noteworthy, the filter gets clogged/filled very easily and is a bit of a pain to remove and clean so frequently. If it is not clean, the suction power is noticeably decreased.

Great for the price

I loved this product and got what I expected out of it for 10 yrs. Yes the battery didn't stay charged long but it isn't a whole house vacuum cleaner either. It ran as long as any other dust buster I have used with more flex ability than them also. Rather sad to see you can't get battery replacements for it now or I'd have another 10 yrs use out of it
