Excellent machine

Gave this machine to granddaughters (ages 10 & 12) for Christmas, to replace a "starter" machine they have had for a couple of years. Then at Easter when I visited, I walked them (and my sewing-challenged daughter) through its use. It is intuitive to use, and does a great job. My daughter -- who would save clothing for me to repair, like sewing on buttons -- observed after studying the manual, "Look, it can sew on buttons..." Yep -- and "sew" much more.
I would recommend this to a friend!

BIG value for your money!!

I love my Brother CS6000i, it is such a great value for the price, and certainly does a great job. I have made eight quilts, several Mug Rugs, and now making microwave bowls for Christmas gifts.

Good for basic sewing projects

My first time having a Brother machine. I do projects two or three times per month, and this machine seems to be adequate for my needs so far. It's a good value for the money and I've had no major problems with it. Bobbin winding is a problem sometimes, where the thread gets tangled around the mechanism holding the bobbin. The machine also is rather noisy, not a smooth running sound.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a great economical machine. If you just sew now and then, or if you are a beginner, this is the machine for you. I love it, and I am a very experienced sewist.

Best machine I ever had

I love this sewing machine,and the needle threaders is a big time plus for me since I can't see to thread needles anymore.and it was very easy to use,I have sewed with this machine almost everyday since I got it in November 2016.i love it.

nice as a second, lighter machine

this was easy to learn with some nice features such as walking foot, removable table & good stitch selection. I can now sew armholes with little trouble

Fantastic for the price

I'm a beginner quilter and had to buy a new machine because my ancient Singer just couldn't handle quilting. This has everything and more that a quilter could need. Easy to use. Love it.
