excellent sewing machine

I am not a seamstress but I wanted a machine that I could use for repairing seams or just simple project. . This machine does all that and more. I am amazed that it does so much. The price was well within my budget. I am very pleased with my new Brother sewing machine.

Great purchase

I have quite a bit of sewing experience. My old machine does a fine job but is in a cabinet and is rather cumbersome to get out to use. This new machine is lightweight and yet very sturdy. It is easy to learn how to use....the book has step by step instructions. It runs very quiet. I highly recommend to anyone from beginner to advanced. It is a great machine!!

I have spent some time, I find is a real pleasure to use. I found a number of videos on line that clarified how to wind a bobbin and thread the needle.The online videos were much easier to follow the instruction manual. I now find that is very simple to use and like the fact that it is light and portable.

For my budget the Best Buy!!!

I’ve had wonderful results on several projects and I’ve experienced one malfunction(the bobbin wasn’t wound right) but it was easily resolved. I Wound another Bobbin making sure it was correctly wound. You must go underneath little wires then go around the round spindle to wind the Bobbin this keeps the tension correct. It is a must when winding your bobbin!

Compared to the sewing machine that I had before this it's magic. It's so easy to use and I can't wait to learn more of what it can do. I've never done quilting before, but I am excited to learn. I might even try embroidery.

Fun and Easy to Use

I did some research and everyone raved about this machine but when I received it, I was a bit worried about the weight of the machine. It is very light weight. I was worried about the sturdiness of it. I have been using it for a couple of months now and it is so fun to use. Last week I started a sewing class and the instructor owns two of the CS600i and said she has been teaching with them for 3 years not without any problems. Now the fact that it is light weight means it is easy for me to move about and I am no longer concerned. It is very simple to thread and wind the bobbins. I love the needle threader and the built in stitches are beautiful. Love it, love it!

Great Modern Sewing Machine Choice

If you're looking for an upgrade to your older machine or even your first buy, this is it. It has an easy to use computer program with pre-selected sewing options that isn't complicated to use with the easy to see photos of the end result right on the machine. It has an auto threading feature that once you understand how it works, is easy to thread the bobbins. The smaller size and quiet features are also great.
